About DNA Testing for Treatment of Periodontal Disease

OralDNA® Labs is a full service clinical lab created for the dental profession to enable the use of diagnostic testing to better treat periodontal, inflammatory and other diseases that reside within the mouth. We provide a clinical lab report that will allow your practice to have better control and knowledge around clinical outcomes. Our timely clinical information will allow for quicker recall and improved treatment of patients with periodontal disease. Our lab report will help you with patient compliance for treatment in the office and in home care settings.

OralDNA® Labs has been created for you: Our U.S. based clinical laboratory provides true "state of the art" clinical information for your practice.

Your clinical exam in combination with our clinical lab result reports will provide a critical link to finding unseen disease and understanding clinical signs of disease.

Today, OralDNA Labs provides two distinct test panels based on DNA-PCR:

  • MyPerioPath®: a pathogen analysis to determine the presence and amount of pathogenic bacteria (bacterial load). View a sample report

  • MyPerioID® PST®: a genetic test to determine susceptibility to perio disease and resistance to treatment. View a sample report
