OraRisk® HSV test is an accurate, sensitive and easy way to diagnose herpes simplex virus outbreaks involving the oropharynx. HSV infections are very common, yet can often be mistaken for other causes of oral vesicles, ulcers and other forms of painful oral and pharyngeal lesions. OraRisk® HSV will identify HSV1 or HSV2 by detecting "shed virus" specific to active infections or outbreaks. All of our salivary diagnostic tests can be ordered from the same simple oral rinse collection.
