Unveiling Our New and Improved OralDNA® Collection Kits!

At OralDNA® Labs, we are always looking for ways to enhance your experience by making our products more user-friendly and efficient. We’re excited to announce the launch of our newly redesigned collection kits, designed to make your job easier and improve the collection process for your patients.

We’ve simplified the collection instructions, ensuring a smoother, hassle-free experience — collecting a sample has never been easier! The patient label has been reimagined, offering more space for essential details while reducing the number of required identifiers, i.e. no more date of birth required on the tube. This new label is now attached to the lid of the kit, so you’ll never have to worry about barcode labels missing from kits. We’ve gone a step further by pre-barcoding the collection tubes.

The kit packaging has been upgraded to be more eco-friendly, using sustainable materials and a stronger adhesive strip to keep your patient’s sample securely in place while in transit back to our lab. And, of course, the entire kit has received a fresh, modern look that combines style with functionality.

At OralDNA Labs, we’re dedicated to elevating the standard of patient care to enhance both oral and overall health. Our flagship product, Alert 2® includes MyPerioPath® which detects 11 oral pathogens that pose risks to oral and systemic well-being, and MyPerioID® IL-6 which identifies individual genetic susceptibility to periodontal disease, all from a quick 30-second oral rinse. What Should I Do With My Existing Kits?

In our effort to promote sustainability, we encourage you to continue using any existing kits you have in stock. The new kits have automatically replaced the previous version as of 9/3/24.

What About Self-Collection Kits?

The self-collection kits will remain unchanged for the time being. However, we’re excited to share that a redesign is in the works for these kits too, and we can’t wait to unveil an improved kit and patient registration experience soon. Stay tuned for more details!
